The overview specifies the various Implementation Stages at the level of detail that the feasibility of the chosen Migration Scenario and its compliance with the requirements and constraints can be evaluated. This artefact facilitates the decision to enter the detailed design with the chosen scenario.

Usually this design is already at a more detailed level for the first one or two Implementation Stages, because that will be the focus of the detailed migration design tasks. The overview of the overall transition is finalised in this artefact to provide the right context to the Migration Design.
